Clarinox Technologies is the Australian distributor of REMCOM software.
REMCOM produces electromagnetic simulation software for engineers.
REMCOM has four main software packages:
- XFDTD
- Wireless Insite
- Varipose
- XGtd

Remcom offers a suite of high performance, low cost, Finite
Difference Time Domain (FDTD) method electromagnetics solvers
called XFDTD. XFDTD is a Full Wave, Full 3D field solver and simulation
package for electromagnetic analysis.
The applications include; microwave, antenna, RF, scattering, biological EM, photonics, EMC, and specialised materials. For further info on Remcom products please contact us.
Wireless InSite a high frequency wireless propagation analysis
software package. Wireless InSite applies physics-based propagation
models to site-specific predictions in rural, urban and indoor
environments, and to viewing and analyzing the predictions. With
only a few steps it is possible to import building and terrain
data, define the antennas, specify the transmitter and receiver
locations, select the desired output, and run the calculations.
Wireless Insite capabilities include: Building Importation;
Building Editing Tools; Building Preprocessor; Wall Types; Terrain
Importation; Terrain Editing Tools; Floor Plan Editor; Indoor
Results Display; Stacking of Floor Plans; Indoor-Outdoor Propagation
Prediction; Transmitter and Receiver Sets. For further info on Remcom products please contact us.
Remcom offers the flexibility to reposition the USAF male meshes
in 10, 5, 3, 2 or 1 mm formats for both XFDTD and generic voxel
formats. Repositioning body joints including knee, hip, elbow,
thumb and finger is provided with Varipose. For further info on Remcom products please contact us.
XGTD is a general purpose ray-based electromagnetic analysis tool capable of modeling propagation in the vicinity of complicated objects (aircraft, vehicles, anechoic chambers, etc.), performing antenna placement analysis, and determining the effects of objects on an antenna’s far zone pattern. It predicts how the locations of the transmitters and receivers interact with general geometry to calculate the signal strength and far zone antenna gain. XGTD models the physical characteristics of objects and anechoic chambers, performs the electromagnetic calculations, and then evaluates the signal propagation characteristics.
